Consider the great investments you can be a part of in January 28-31!
Soul-Investment
How is your soul doing so far this year? A great way to feed your hunger for righteousness (Mt. 5:6) and be filled with the Spirit (Eph. 5:18) is to spend time in God’s word together, glorifying Him in study and song. As we learn God’s word together, we are filled to speak God’s word to each other! Does your soul thirst to be before God with His saints (Ps. 42:1-4)?
Family-Investment
Our families are ours for awhile so they can be God’s for eternity. As Christ loved the church, so husbands are to love their wives. The child-parent relationship finds its greatest strength in honoring the Lord together (Ephesians 5:22-6:4). How are we investing for our families in an eternal way? Showing priority for God and His kingdom will strengthen everyone in your home!
Church-Investment
We truly are part of the family that has been born again! Do we seek out specific opportunities to “stir up one another to love and good works” (Heb. 10:24)? In God’s sight we are precious and built together as living stones into a spiritual house (1 Pet. 2:1-10). January 28-31 gives us such an opportunity to knit our hearts together in love (Col. 2:2)!
Sunday, January 28th will begin our Gospel Meeting this year with Mike Vestal. Adult classes will meet in the auditorium on Sunday morning. Monday-Wednesday night we will have one lesson per night at 7:00 PM. All regular classes will meet in the auditorium on Wednesday. Please pray for this event and please make a concerted effort to be with us.
