 Dear Brethren,

May the God of hope fill you always with joy, peace, and happiness.

Working in the Lord’s kingdom is always satisfying and fulfilling in spite of the many challenges that come with it. Using the courage, strength, and opportunity that the Lord has been giving us, we were able to share again the message of God that give hope of eternal salvation with a number of people last month. In addition, we were also given the time to comfort and lift up the spirits of our brethren who had lost their loved ones and of those who were physically and spiritually ill. Furthermore, we also went to help with the evangelism campaign of one of the new congregations in our province. We were asked to help facilitate a group discussion with their members on how to tell the people in their community about Jesus. Finally, our youth together with the young people of our two neighboring congregations had been blessed in June to hear encouraging lessons and enjoy a joyous and wonderful fellowship.

It truly brings a lot of joy in our hearts whenever the Word of God is taught and the people who hear it understand it clearly and are willing to respond to God’s call and promise of eternal life. Let us all celebrate together and rejoice with the angels in heaven for the salvation of 5 precious souls last month, namely, Lester De Vera, Rodilio Tudayan, Janna Acosta, Charm Venus Quiros, and Pryscilla Shane Rabago. They all came from Catholic church. Lester, Rodilio, and Janna were invited and referred to us by their friends and loved ones who are members of the Lord’s church. On the other hand, Charm Venus and Pryscilla Shane are cousins. They are my nieces from my wife’s side. They have been attending our church services with their siblings. After several weeks of studying and praying together with these seekers, when they understood

well that Jesus is the only way to heaven, they gladly decided to put on Christ in baptism for the forgiveness of their sins.

We had a magnitude 7 earthquake here last week. We thank the Lord so much for His mercy and protection. My family and I and the brethren here are doing fine.

Thank you very much for your continued commitment and generosity for the work of the Lord here in the Philippines.

Your love, prayers, care, kindness, and support are making a lot of difference in the lives of the people here.
