Philippines Mission Letter: December 2019

Philippines Mission Letter: December 2019

Dear Brethren,

Greeting you all a Blessed and Prosperous New Year! “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 2).

We always praise and lift up the name of the Lord for all His goodness and mercy which continues to motivate us to tell it also to others. As we keep on going in reaching out to people, the Lord continues to lead us to those who have a humble heart to listen and ponder on His powerful and saving words. We continue to ask the Lord in a gentle prayer that these prospects will see what the Lord is telling them for their eternity and later on make their decision to obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is our hope and prayer that God will continue to bless us with many more opportunities this brand new year to teach and lead more people to Jesus for their salvation.

Our young people were blessed to attend and participate in two different events last month. One was the Yearly Christian Youth Camp held in western Pangasinan and the other one was the Yearly Overnight Youth Fellowship hosted by our own congregation. Both of the events were well attended. Beautiful singing, great lessons, wonderful fellowship, and fun activities were enjoyed by all. They were also able to extend their godly influence and friendship with other Christians from different congregations. Our youth were even more encouraged to remain faithful to the Lord and His church. May the Lord continue to bless them with knowledge and wisdom and a stronger relationship as brothers and sisters in His family.

We continue to glorify God for who He is and for all that He had done so that we can surmount all that we had been through in 2019. The Lord continues to bless our congregation with an increase. A total of 19 active new Christians were added to our congregation by the Lord last year. We also had 6 restorations. With the Lord’s will and guidance, we will keep reaching out to lost souls and strengthening our congregation. May the Lord continue to bless our work and open many more opportunities for us for the furtherance of His kingdom this 2020.

Thank you very, very much for all that you have done and will continue to do for the work of the Lord here! We appreciate so much all your love, care, prayers, generosity, thoughtfulness, and kindness.

May the Lord continue to bless and strengthen more our relationship as we keep on working together in His great vineyard this 2020.
