Andy Baker

Andy Baker is the pulpit preacher for Graeber Road since 2018.

Prior to that, he served in San Marcos, Texas as an associate/youth minister and also as a pulpit preacher in Maud, Texas. He is a former public school teacher and a 2006 graduate of the Southwest School of Bible Studies in Austin, Texas. He is a graduate of Tyler Junior College (Associate of Arts in Music) and Stephen F. Austin State University (Bachelor of Music with a Choral Concentration and Masters of Arts in Music Education).

Before becoming a full-time minister, Andy worked and performed with the Dallas Symphony as a member of the Dallas Symphony Chorus, he has portrayed numerous operatic roles, and also performed roles in several musicals.

Since 2006, Andy has primarily used his musical talent to encourage singing, song writing and song leading in the church. He has conducted many song leading seminars and workshops by request of different congregations. He has written, and continues to write songs for the edification of the church, and he continues instruction at Southwest to help its students develop good habits and practices for song leading.

As a preacher, Andy has conducted gospel meetings, workshops, and events and has been on several preaching trips in Jamaica, Africa, Ukraine, and in the United States. He has a beautiful wife, Kathryn and three wonderful children: 2 girls and a boy.
