Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. – Proverbs 14:34
Something I have heard many election seasons since the mid 90 ’s If “we” don ’t win this upcoming election, the nation will be destroyed. Read carefully again Proverbs 14:34. We live in a nation that is not above reproach. Yet, for many, this nation is still recognized as the greatest nation with the most freedom to worship God than any other nation on earth. Are these doomsday election predictions truly worth the anxiety many feel right now? Remember these Bible Principles over the coming few weeks:
1. Whether your candidate wins or loses, God is still in control. Daniel 4:17
2. Whether your candidate wins or loses, Jesus is still Lord of lords and King of kings. Revelation 17:14, 19:16
3. Whether your candidate wins or loses, Jesus is still the secret to contentment. Philippians 4:11 -13
4. Whether your candidate wins or loses, we must still live faithfully. Revelation 2:10
5. Whether your candidate wins or loses, our mission is still the same. 1 Timothy 2:1 – 8
6. Whether your candidate wins or loses, the Great I AM is still worthy of worship. Psalm 148:13
7. Whether your candidate wins or loses, we can rest assured that God will judge this unrighteous world, after which we will dwell with Him in eternity in a righteous world. 2 Peter 3:7 -13
