Psalm 133

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! 2 It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. 3 It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing — Life forevermore.

As we come to the last bulletin for 2024, what a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the goodness of God, and the display of that goodness through the Body of Christ!

Our Elders placed a challenge before us to Purpose toward a prosperous 2025 in the work of the Lord entrusted to us! We prayed and examined Scripture to help us focus our hearts and minds. And you responded! Like the Macedonian church we looked at in 2 Corinthians 8, you gave yourselves first to the Lord, and then responded to our Elders with your commitment!

Because of God’s goodness and your faithfulness to the blessings God has entrusted to you, we are excited about a strong commitment to the work of the Lord for 2025! Even though there were many challenges to navigate over the past year, you have made a strong commitment to 99% of last year’s budget, which has allowed our Elders to set a budget for the coming year at $10,793 per week!

And as we saw from 2 Corinthians 9, God can multiply the seed we sow to increase the fruits of our righteousness. I hope you are excited and prayerful about our service to God in the coming year!

Ephesians 3: 20-21

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Give Thanks! Give Praise! For what God is doing and will do through us and in us in 2025! To God be the glory!
