Dear Brethren,
May the Lord continue to watch over you and keep you all safe.
I am so glad to let you know that things are getting better here. The number of COVID-19 cases in our country are declining as many people are now getting vaccinated. Our national government is loosening restrictions in many areas in our country. The No Sunday Movement policy in our town was already lifted the third week of October.
We are so happy and thankful to God that we can already gather at the church building for our church services. As we miss seeing each other personally and worshiping the Lord together, we are greatly encouraged as we pray, sing, and study the Lord’s word together again as a congregation. We are also grateful for the opportunity to visit each other again, especially those brethren who were affected the most by the flooding last month. We have also been blessed to visit and study again with our prospects. We continue to hope and pray that things will get much better in the following days and months.
As the Lord continues to bless the work here in reaching out to the lost in our community, 2 precious souls were forgiven of their sins and added to the Lord’s church last month when they put on Christ in baptism. Let us all praise and glorify God for the salvation of Malissa Centino and Florencio Cayabyab. We first met Florencio a couple of months ago when he was invited by his Christian neighbor and friend. When we visited him one time, it happened that his sister, Malissa, was also there listening to us. When we were about to leave, she said that she also wanted to join us in our study. After many times of studying the Scriptures together, they both decided to obey the Lord in His death, burial, and resurrection last month.
We appreciate so much all that you have already done and will continue to do for the work of the Lord here in the Philippines.
Thank you very much for the love, prayers, care, and support.
Lord willing, we will distribute food and other items of need in the following days to help those who have been affected by the recent flooding.
In His humble service,
Roberto Indong
