Eddie Parrish was born in Dallas, Texas. He grew up in the small town of Quinlan, about 50 miles east of Dallas. He enrolled in the Brown Trail School of Preaching in Bedford, Texas, in 1988 at the age of 19.
Since his graduation in 1990, he has preached for the following churches:
Boles Home Church of Christ (Quinlan, Texas)
Patrick Street Church of Christ (Dublin, Texas)
Collinsville Church of Christ (Collinsville, Texas)
21st and Eisenhower Church of Christ (Odessa, Texas)
University Church of Christ (Tyler, Texas)
Brown Trail Church of Christ (Bedford, Texas)
In addition to his pulpit work at Brown Trail, Eddie also taught classes in the Brown Trail School of Preaching and served as the speaker for “The Truth in Love,” a half-hour television program produced by the Brown Trail congregation. Some of Eddie’s television work can still be seen on the Gospel Broadcasting Network (www.gbntv.org).
While a student at Brown Trail, Eddie met Mary Powell. They were married in 1991 and have been blessed with two sons: Amos and Daniel.
Eddie has been working with us at the Graeber Road Church of Christ since August of 2014.
Troy Albers is a minister at Graeber Road focusing on strengthening families.
Troy Albers began serving the congregation in July of 2000. He was born in Colorado and grew up in Texas, Washington state, and Colorado.
After becoming a Christian at the age of 21, he entered Oklahoma Christian University of Science and Arts and graduated with a B.A. degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations/Advertising. Troy is also an accomplished musician.
Troy met Amy Hahn while a student at O.C. and they married in May of 1991 at Graeber Road. They have four children. After graduation, Troy and Amy worked in Holland with the "Let's Start Talking" program.
Troy has worked with congregations in Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma. The Albers family spent three years working as missionaries with the church in Eindhoven, the Netherlands before coming to work with Graeber Road.
Allen Hahn is a minister at Graeber Road. Recently retired, Allen preaches on occasion, teaches, and provides support to our India mission effort with written materials and communication.
Allen Hahn began serving the congregation December 1976. He was born in Seguin, Texas and grew up in New Braunfels.
He preached for three congregations in Oklahoma and two in Texas before coming to Graeber Road.
Since 1993 Allen has made annual extended trips to southern India to encourage Christians there, train preachers, and conduct evangelistic meetings. He has also written material for Indian preachers to use in their teaching.
In 2014, Allen retired from his full time position but continues to work part time and serves the congregation in many ways.
